A tradition since 1985 and selected in USA Today’s 2021 Top Haunted Attractions in America, Kersey Valley Spookywoods Haunted Attraction is a spooktacular event that you don’t want to miss. From the moment you arrive on Kersey Valley property, you are fair game to each and every haunted creature residing there. You enter the attraction along a dark, winding dirt road and once you start…the heart pounding excitement is non-stop. Solving murders, going into dark woods that have been a refuge for lost souls, exploring the cornfield where human souls are captured by the maniacal crows, visiting the home in the clouds where the four horsem*n of the apocalypse reside, and finding your way through the cooler while avoiding the meat grinder are just a few of the things that you will endure while visiting Kersey Valley Spookywoods. Around every corner is another surprise!

Have an a-maize-ing experience and enjoy a full day of unique outdoor experiences that are tons of fun! Jump on board the Kersey Valley Express Train, reach for the sky on the jumping pillows, race down the super mega ride n slide, explore the tree house village, take part in a dinosaur discovery, ride the pedal carts, hop on the cow train, see your kids adventurous side as you watch them on the kiddie zip lines, climb rock walls, and bungee jump! But wait…the fun doesn’t stop there. You can also bring your pet on a leash and explore the corn maze with your furry friend! There is a doggy bar and miles of pathways in the corn maze to walk your pets.
Spooktacular Pets of the Triad Halloween Costume Contest

Visit High Point, High Point Grooming and Northwood Animal Hospital are partnering to host a Spooktacular Pets of the Triad Halloween Costume Contest! Send Visit High Point a picture through Facebook messenger of your pet in a spooktacular costume before the clock strikes midnight on October 25th. Please include the name of your pet within the message. Photos with pets visiting a High Point pet-friendly attraction will automatically gain extra votes with Visit High Point matching vote for vote. Once you message the picture to Visit High Point, it will be put in the Spooktacular Pets of the Triad album, and you’ll be able to share the album with family and friends where they vote by liking your picture. The top three winners with the most votes (likes on Facebook) will be announced on Friday, October 29th at 12pm and will receive gift baskets donated by Northwood Animal Hospital and free grooming services from High Point Grooming.

No tricks, but plenty of treats await children and adults on PEC’s trails! As you make your way through the darkened woods, meet “animals” who tell amazing things about their lives. Partake in apple cider, cookies and a campfire during this educational Halloween adventure. All participants should bring a flashlight and wear appropriate shoes.

Time to get spooky! Stop in for some fun at the Historic Haunted Hotel where there will be frightening festivities for the whole family! Those are just a couple of the ghastly games you will be able to participate in. You’ll also want to collect a “bone” at every activity so you have the chance at winning an even bigger treat! If you’re more of a specter-tator, you can slip into that Halloween Spirit at Spooky Storytime and get creative with a creepy coloring page. With crafts from 10am-12pm and a family film from 12pm-2pm, learn about the holiday celebrated in honor of the loved ones whom are no longer with us.
