First, let me say it took me about 2 months to finally buy the watch of my dreams (Rolex Daytona, took longer to save the Money) I just want to explain... living in California and buying a watch in NYC was a little scary. Jonathan was first class all the way! He answered all my questions...even the dumb ones, sent me more detailed pictures and made me feel really comfortable about wiring the $ to him. After he received my wire he was supposed to send the watch by Fed Ex but, because of the bad weather he advised me to wait 1 more day until it cleared up. Elan and his brother looked after me in their private setting boutique which I really liked as you get a private experience compare to other shops on the block. Jonathan was able to source a discontinued watch for me at a great price. AP was only making blue and brown faces on their 2018 rose gold royal oak chronograph, while I was looking for the silver face from the previous year. To complicate things, I was looking for a brand new one, not pre-owned. Jonathan found me a brand new one with stickers, papers, box, etc, in one day. I spent about a month looking for my first Audemars Piguet. I went to authorized dealers in CT, NY, and even one in NC. I met a ton of great people but really found myself appreciating the service of luxury time the most. I worked with Jonathan. He was extremely knowledgable and passionate about watches. And despite the fact that he assumed I would go with an authorized dealer, he continued to follow up and send pictures of new inventory and watches he thought I would like. So eventually I went down to his NYC location. I had my heart set on a particular watch but he thought I should look at a few others as well for comparison. Turns out the pink gold formula had changed this year and was beautiful. I ended up with a totally different model than expected and am very happy I did. Truly beautiful timepiece. I got a really good deal and they even sent me the authentic rubber strap I said I was going to purchase on my own. Little icing on the cake. Everything was shipped and delivered in one day.
