Finishing Your Bunny amigurumi
Bring your crochet amigurumi to life by sewing its parts together! Start by securely attaching the head to the body. For a stronger hold, make sure to insert your needle through both loops of the body’s last round and each stitch of the head.
How to make a nose for stuffed animals?
The first step is to insert the needle from back to front in the middle of the eyes.
Then insert your needle under the eyes from left to right.
Then insert the needle from right to bottom middle spot
Continue repeating these steps till you fill the nose.
Using the same method, make the mouth, FO, and secure with a knot.
Finishing touches of the bunny amigurumi
After you have all the parts finished, it is time for the last finishing touches. To make the facial expression more realistic, we will use the amigurumi technique for the eyes and the chicks.
Take a piece of yarn and insert the needle next to the safety eye from the back to the front and from right to left and pull the needle at the back side of the head. Then repeat the same for the other eye.
You will have two strands of yarn at the back side of the head, secure them with a knot and weave the tails in.
Repeat the same steps for the chicks, but this time pull the needle from the bottom of the head, secure it with a knot, and weave the tails in.
In the end, you must have a cute and realistic-looking bunny plushie head.
Then sew the head on top of the body. Don’t forget to stuff the body well so that it can stand when the head is attached.
How to sew all the parts together for bunny amigurumi?
Sew the hands on both sides under the head.
Sew the feet on both sides of the bottom part of the body.
Sew ears on top of the head.
Sew the tail on the bottom backside of the bunny’s body.
